Energy Balls

Thanks to Pat Gregory for this wonderful energiser.

Energy Balls

I thought I'd share this recipe for a really delicious healthy snack:

Energy Balls are exactly that- they provide you with pure, enzyme- rich, satisfying and long lasting energy. You can add any of your
favourite nuts and Superfoods to these and experiment until you create
your ideal recipe. Make enough to store in the fridge or your lunch
box to reach for when you are in need of a snack or to wake up.

1 cup walnuts
1 Cup Sunflower seeds
1 Cup Pitted Dates (soaked 1 hour)
1 Tbsp Tahini
½ Cup Cacao Powder
1 tsp Spirulina
1 tsp Cinnamon (optional)

-Process nuts to a smooth powder
-Add dates to food processor, a couple at a time
-Add the Tahini and pulse through
-Add cacao powder to food processor
-Lay out on tray or roll into balls and keep in the fridge
